Grey Dog's Coffee

Apparently I am not perfect, I thought for sure I had to be since EVERY restaurant I have chosen in New York has been fabulous, but nope, not this one. I won't spend too much time on this review because I have already wasted too much of it eating at this restaurant.
This is another place I had already been to and maybe I guess I remembered incorrectly. We just wanted a simple breakfast and this place is in Union Square so we figured it would be a great area to start the day in. We ordered challah french toast and a lox bagel plate along with an iced coffee and cappucino. To begin, the coffee tasted burnt, neither me nor my man got near finishing it because it tasted horrible. The french toast was soggy, the bagel a little stale and the tomatoes unripe. Not a totally disgusting meal, just not worth $35. And no, that is not a typo, it is overpriced too.
Like I said, not worth my time or yours. So if you happen to see this place don't become enchanted with the cute, decoupaged tables or paintings of dogs, just keep walking.
